Choir tour to Gloucester

What a lovely weekend we spent in Gloucester Cathedral with the choir. It’s always great to see the choir recognised in the music lists

The cathedral was used in some of the Harry Potter films and is very lovely outside

And this, Jamie, in front of one of the largest stained glass windows, the size of a tennis court so we were told!

I rather liked the organ that in part dates from 16th century.

Following rehearsals and the Saturday evensong, we all went bowling,

And enjoyed downtime with friends

Back to our hotel for bed, before rehearsal, Communion, lunch, rehearsal, Evensong and home. I had a fabulous weekend and experienced some amazing music making!
