All Saints Day

I’m becoming a more confident organ player, so much so that Chris is giving me opportunities I never dreamt of having. Today I played the Introit at the All Saints Day Service. My name was on the service sheet….

order of service
..and I anxiously waited,
waiting
playing
I was even introduced by the vicar before I played
What Mummy didn’t catch on film, because she wasn’t expecting it, was the huge round of applause I received after playing, and the congratulations and encouraging comments at the end of the service were a treat to hear. What an amazingly supportive congregation and clergy I have in church. I realise I am very fortunate.
