Seend Musical Celebration

This evening, I played at a convert in Seend Church, which was organised by my piano teacher. We heard music from choirs, flautists, violinists, pianists, singers and of course the organ!

It’s a lovely old organ in Holy Cross, which you can only reach by climbing narrow, spiral stairs which are quite worn in places. I’m not used to a mechanical organ so I find it quite hard to play, but it’s a good experience for me. I played Fanfare, one of my grade 6 pieces, for the first time in public.

I love it when people are amazed a 13 year old can play the organ! I started the arpeggio chords (towards the end) on the wrong note, so it went a bit wrong, but not too bad, I just want to get it even faster now!
