It’s the strangest start to Christmas Day, for me and for many. Usually I’d have decorated the choir stalls, sung at the Crib service, done Carol singing in one of our local hotels and gone on to sing at Midnight Mass. This morning, I’d have been up and out to the Family Service before we started our family celebrations.
I’ve missed the preparations, singing and being able to wish my friends both at school and choir a happy Christmas. That said, I’ve been able to watch the service from Kings and enjoy their wonderful music, we’ve had a much more chilled Christmas Eve than usual and likewise start to Christmas Day.

However, as a family we’re making the most of these unusual times, counting our blessings, grateful for what have. We started with our Christmas Eve boxes yesterday, followed by Carols in the village, Mary and Joseph arriving at the inn on a trailer!

Today we’ll be enjoying a full English breakfast (which we never have time for at Christmas) a traditional Christmas dinner and gifts, chatter and laughs in between.
Thank you to all those who follow me on this blog. I’m blessed to have your support and friendship.
Here’s a little recording for you this Christmas;
Wishing you a very merry Christmas.

Anna every note perfectly in place, even on Christmas Day, thank you. I am however worried that Mr Fudge hasn’t moved for days and is still uncomfortably close to those lovely Christmas trees
